Concept Board

Before creating my wallpaper, I went on to Pinterest to search for some inspiration and references for my design. I then sketched out my drawing on a piece of paper and decided on the colour palette.

Design Progress

I first created the bunnies, mooncake and boat using the pen tool

Then I went on to create the mountains, and added strokes using the pen tool to make it look more realistic.

I then added the lake.
Figure 1.4 Lake

I added a pink to blue gradient colour on the lake because I will be adding a moon at the back later and the pink is the brightness of the moon reflected on the lake. I also added lily pads and lily flowers on the lake. I applied some strokes on these elemnts to make it look more realistic.

I added a dark blue at the background using the rectangle tool and added a moon using the ellipse tool.

I also added some birds, fog, stars to make the night sky look enchanting. I also added some strokes and shadows of the lily pads on the lake to make it look realistic.

I then applied gradient colours on the mountains, lily pads, lily flowers, mooncakes, and the bunnies to enhance the overall look. I also added glow effect on the moon to make it shine brightly in the night sky.

I've also added floating lanterns because lanterns and mooncakes are the essence of Mid Autumn Festival. I've applied gradient colours and glow effect on the lanterns to make it shine bright at the night sky.

Lastly, I added flowers on the moon connected ti the mountains because i thought it looked a bit plain.
